2013 Heisman Hopefuls

Heisman Trophy

Teddy Bridgewater, Aaron Murray, and Johnny Manziel! The best three QBs in all of college football, no doubt about it. My three Heisman finalists for the 2013 season.

1. Teddy Bridgewater

teddy-bridgewater-p1I start with Teddy Bridgewater of the Louisville Cardinals, the highest ceiling of any QB in CFB. Last season he threw 419 passes completing 68.5% of them(287). He totalled 27 TDs 8 INTs with a QB rating of 160.5.

Prediction: Teddy Bridgewater throws for 3800+ yds 32+ TDs 5 INTs completing 70% of his passes and a QB rating of 172

 2. Aaron Murray

Aaron Murray GeorgiaNext is the SEC East’s best gunslinger in UGAs Aaron Murray. Murray threw for 3893 yds 36 TDs 10 INTs completing 69.5% of his 386 pass attempts(249 comp) with a QB rating of 174.8.

Prediction: Murray throws for 4000+ yds 40+TDs 7 INTs, completing 72% of his and a QB rating of 177.

 3. Johnny Manziel

Johnny ManzielFinally we have reigning Heisman winner Johnny Manziel from TAMU. He took everyone by storm in ’12 by throwing for 3706 yds 26 TDs 9 INTs, completing 68% of his 434 pass attempts with a QB rating of 155.3 AND he rushed 201 times for 1410 yds and 21 TDs.

Prediction: Manziel won’t be catching too many defenses off guard this season. 3500+ yds 25 TDs 6 INTs completing 70% of his passes with a 166 QB rating.

All in all these three will thrive and all are Heisman caliber QBs but I believe it’ll be Murray’s year to shine. UGA will be primed to try and knock Bama off the SEC throne and Murray will be the key piece.
