In only their second year as a member in the Southeastern conference The Missouri Tigers look to put a wrap on the SEC East. They are about do what I call “The Missouri Sweep” and beat all the powerhouse programs from the SEC East. The Tigers have already beaten Georgia and Florida. The last team standing in their way from the sweep and basically a SEC East championship seems to be the South Carolina Gamecocks. The Gamecocks will be without starting quarterback Connor Shaw, so The Missouri Sweep is looking more possible.
The Tigers are looking pretty thin at quarterback right now with senior starter James Franklin, and third string sophomore Corbin Berkstresser both injured. That leaves Freshman Maty Mauk and his freshman crew the only ones available left. The Missouri offensive line is going to have to play huge to protect Mauk, and not leave the game in the hands of a fourth string freshman quarterback.
The Tigers are the only undefeated team left in the East and their counterparts all have multiple losses. The defense has not allowed over 30 points yet this season, so that has to take some pressure off a high Also the schedule gets somewhat easier after this game with only one current ranked team left on the schedule (Texas A&M).
